Literature Text

She walks through castles of white
And fields of poppy seed gold.
She drinks the fresh morning
Dew from the nectar of old.

You may think it all a dream.
A calm surrender of the mind.
But this is her sweet nightmare.
As her body slowly unwinds.

He left and she left standing
In a pool of blood and tears.
She turns and starts shaking
As she realizes her biggest fears.

He wasn't her prince charming
And she was no Snow White.
He took away her innocence
And left her in a fright.

He left her cold and naked
The frost upon her skin.
When will her nightmare end
And her fairy tale begin?
Please wake up...
